This is a great 2 day comprehensive Barista package. Suitable for anyone new to the Barista industry, staff training & cafe owners. 

We have designed a 2 day course to include our LSC Basic Barista and our LSC Intermediate Barista courses.  You can also take the LSC Basic Barista (Barista Masterclass) course on its own if you are looking for just a 1 day introductory course you can find dates for this course on our website.

The first day will introduce students to the foundation of the work of the barista; helping you to understand coffee, milk and the machines involved.  Then the 2nd day (Intermediate) we will put these skills into practice and focus on producing quality cafe menu drinks as if you were in a cafe bar environment. Great Day to practice your skills.

This course will take you from complete novice to making cafe quality drinks in two days.

Please note:  We currently have two locations for this course one in East London (address is La Marzocco, 8-10 New North Place, London, EC2A 4JA) the other at our new site in Wandsworth SW18 4LY. You can choose your option of location when booking.

Please Note: When booking a specific date on this course if the date is feint this means the course is fully booked if in bold places are available.

What to expect:

You can attend this course even if you have not approached an espresso machine before, its also suitable for baristas with basic skills, home enthusiasts and those looking for a refresher course.

Day one we will cover:

The basic barista training course includes:

  • Coffee harvesting, processing and roasting
  • The role of the barista
  • Grinder and espresso machine operation, cleaning and maintenance
  • Factors affecting coffee
  • The perfect espresso and its daily quality control
  • Milk texturing techniques
  • Drinks preparation and presentation

Day two we will cover:

This day is very hands on - working on the espresso machines, replicating the cafe bar environment.

The intermediate barista training course includes:

  • Preparation of working area.
  • Focus on quality with consistency
  • Multiple orders
  • Speed of Service.
  • Introduction to latte art skills - Basic Heart

This course is 10am to 4pm each day.

The cost of this 2 day course is £399.00 fully inclusive of VAT.

Certificates of attendance are available if required.

1. Cancellations & Refunds

  • More than 7 days before the course: You may cancel your booking for a full refund or reschedule to a future date (subject to availability).

  • Within 7 days of the course: Unfortunately, we are unable to offer a refund but will do our best to reschedule you as soon as we have availability.

  • Non-attendance without notice: If you do not attend the course and have not informed us in advance, the booking will be treated as a no-show, and no refund or reschedule will be possible.

2. Illness or Emergency

  • If you are unwell or unable to attend due to an emergency, please contact us as soon as possible.

  • We may be able to offer a reschedule (one-time only) at our discretion, particularly if you provide notice and we are able to fill your space.

  • Refunds will not be issued for illness-related cancellations, but we will always do our best to accommodate a new date.

3. Gift Vouchers

  • Vouchers are non-refundable but are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.

  • Vouchers can be transferred to someone else at any time before the course.

  • If the voucher holder is unable to attend due to illness or unforeseen circumstances, please contact us at least 48 hours in advance and we will do our best to offer an alternative date (subject to availability).

4. Cancellations by Us

  • In the unlikely event that we need to cancel a course (e.g. due to staff illness or low numbers), we will offer a full refund or reschedule, whichever you prefer.
