Water Preventative Maintenance Foundation
Water and Preventive Maintenance Foundation is an introductory course that covers key concepts of water treatment systems and preventive maintenance of common coffee equipment.
Using the SCA’s ‘Measure, Aim, Treat’ Framework, students will demonstrate the measurement of water composition, define key water parameters and quality recommendations; and identify the typical components, function, impact and maintenance of common water treatment systems.
Students will learn the importance of preventative maintenance programs and using best-practice will work on traditional espresso machines, batch brewers and coffee grinders.
The course will be split across a half day theory ONLINE from 10am to 2pm followed by a Practical skills workshop at the London School of Coffee from 9:30am to 2:30pm (30min break).

This qualification is a prerequisite for all SCA diplomas.
Note: This course is not an electrical or plumbing qualification.
Location: Onsite Training from 9am to 4pm - Wandsworth, South West London.
Online Q & A session - live using Microsoft Teams. 10am to 12midday.
