Jamie Banwell - Roasting Trainer

Jamie Banwell has been an SCA qualified roasting trainer for 5 years and a Diedrich Master Trainer for 8 years.

Jamie was fortunate to originally learn about roasters and roasting from Stephan Diedrich, Founder of Diedrich Roasters, and is proud to count him as a good friend. Jamie is a Q Grader, formerly a UKBC and WBC Judge and currently a judge for regional roasting competitions: he also has a BEng in Engineering in Civil Engineering from the UMIST.

Initially, Jamie was a distributor for Diedrich in the UK, but since July 2018, Jamie is Director of European Sales for Diedrich Roasters, responsible for training and many other areas.

Based in Fulham since mid-2018 at the London School of Coffee and Diedrich Showroom he's been lucky to train many new and existing roasters. With extensive Diedrich experience of small to large roasteries, he's also consulted to start-up and existing roasteries around Europe.
